Basic (Concept) Design of DCS Systems
a. Design and consulting for network systems - from selecting the appropriate PC stations to defining the types of switches, AS stations and other network components for your plant
b. Defining DCS project structure, library and workflow concepts (PTTs, CMTs, EMTs and EPHTs) which best fit your plant
c. Reviewing technical specifications and requirements and translating those into complete design proposal documents
Detail Design of DCS Systems
a. Developing system network diagrams based on technical specifications and equipment lists
b. Designing and documenting library typicals based on electrical and process requirements. Identification of necessary libraries ensuring smooth and consistent engineering
Basic and Detailed Engineering (Siemens PCS 7)
a. Setting up multi-project structures based on technical specifications and requirements - including ES stations, OS servers, Batch/Route Control servers, Process Historians and more
b. Creating libraries based on electrical and process requirements, lean and structural approach during the design phase to enable smooth bulk-engineering and detailed engineering
c. Leading detailed PCS7 engineering, engineering and coordinating project teams
Subsupplier Management & Coordination
a. Ensuring subsuppliers comply with end customer requirements and standards
b. Reviewing and approving electrical and control system design documents
c. Tracking progress and following up to ensure on-time delivery of equipment, documentation and software
Electrical Installation & System Maintenance
a. Supervising electrical installation to ensure compliance with technical and legal norms and regulations
b. Maintaining and updating electrical cabinets and equipment with the newest and most advanced technological solutions
c. Maintaining and proposing update and upgrade plans for the control system
FAT, Commissioning, Start-up and SAT
a. Performing FATs together with relevant parties. Remote, in customer/end-customer offices or on-site. Planning and creating protocols for all test types, ensuring proper documentation of the test and distributing the test protocols to all relevant parties
b. Supporting I/O check, cold commissioning, functional testing, hot commissioning, starting-up and optimization of a running plant
c. Performing SATs together with relevant parties on-site ensuring compliance with technical and legal norms and regulations. Planning and creating protocols for all test types, ensuring proper documentation of the test and distributing the test protocols to all relevant parties
